The amazing Nevin Family

It was such a pleasure today to shoot Lori, Amanda and Connor Nevin.  Stevie Rae met Amanda when she was only 13 years old at OSLS.  The girls have been friends ever since.  Lori is a remarkable woman who has been through so much and came out much better off.  She is a beautiful lady and I proud to be her friend.

Lori asked me to take their Christmas pictures and, of course, it was my pleasure.  Enjoy

Trunk or Treat

This year at Our Savior Lutheran School, Talen's school, I was asked to be the official photographer.  I set up an amazing booth with 8 hay bales, 3 bundles of corn husks, lots of gords and pumpkins decorated, a personalized sign, some scarecrows and a velvet backdrop.  That was the hard part.  Photographing the kids was so much fun.  As you can see from the photos, the kids were adorable.  What a great safe way for our kids to celebrate Halloween together.  OSLS has been doing this for years and I remember Stevie Rae attending some when she was at OSLS for middle school.  Talen was the most adorable "Blood and Guts Specialist".. and he really loves the trick or treating out of the trunks part the most.  Great event with great people.  Special Thanks to Kelli Lopez for coming and assisting me all night.  She did an amazing job getting all the kids signed up and collecting monies from the parents.  I would also like to thanks Lina Naumann for donating the scarecrows, the personalized banner, and the hay for my booth.  Love ya girl!  Thanks so much.

Lexi Loo

Once upon a time in a small (7 students) private lutheran school, St. Stephen Lutheran School, in Mountain View, there was a sweet boy named Jesse Gadd.   Jesse was nothing short of perfection.  Stevie Rae was nearly 6 years old and had a super big crush.  Stevie Rae's favorite part about Jesse was that he didn't have any hair.  You see Jesse had Lukemia.  For about a year and a half, Jesse blessed us with his friendship and kindness.  We loved him.  Jesse had a little sister. Lexi Gadd!  Lexi is truly one of the most amazing girls you will ever meet.  She has the absolute BEST personality in the world.  She makes me laugh so hard that ... we'll lets not go there.  She has the most Beautiful voice.  I am sure her name was Etta in her last life.... . To boot... She is stunningly gorgeous.  You wonder how two beautiful, smart, talented, KIND, faithful and funny girls could have ended up Best Friends in a small little school in Mountain View.  I like to think it was a devine accident!  Lucky for me, Lexi has come to be another daughter to me and I just adore her and always will. Lexi and Stevie Rae travelled to many different retirement homes for nearly 6 years putting on singing shows for the residents.  The residents just loved them.  Along the way the girls invited other girls to come and sing but Lexi and Stevie Rae were the constant in "Stevie Rae and Friends"!  Lexi has blessed Stevie Rae with unconditional love for nearly 13 years.  I have a feeling they will be little old ladies and still best friends.  Music is a strong tie and it binds Lexi and Stevie Rae forever!  Lexi's mom, Dawn is truly one of my best friends and I am so thankful for her love and support.  It is a blessing when you find someone that shares the same values and is raising her kids the same or similar as you are.  I found that in Dawn and she and I will be little old ladies and still best friends... I just know it.  Honestly, the Stephens Family just adores the Gadd Family!
