Talen Poses
Not Talen's favorite thing to do.... POSE! But, he watched his sister pose for me for years and he really knows what to do. LOL! He is so sweet because I got my Studio lighting all set up and I needed a model to test it out on. He said sure Mom but only for a few minutes. So we went out to the Studio and his shirt was so dirty that I told him to just take it off. So he is shirtless in the photos and I kind of like it. He is so sweet.
I am a lucky lady!

Kelli & Tim
I can't begin to tell you how excited I was to do Kelli & Tim's Engagement Photos. Kelli had been a great friend for many years and she means a lot to me. Tim is such a sweet guy and we are so happy Kelli has found the perfect man for her. I am looking forward to hosting Kelli's baby shower in the coming months. Baby Cole will be beautiful if he looks anything like his mommy and daddy. Congratulations Kelli and Tim.

Reunion Class of 79!
A couple of weeks ago, Paul and I had the opportunity to get out of dodge for the night. This would be to celebrate his 30 year class reunion. So normally that wouldn't be all that much fun since it was his 30 year class reunion not mine... (LOL! Not for a few more years). Anyway, I am blessed that over the years Paul and I have remained friends with many of the kids from his class of 79'. With all that said, they put the band back together, Paul, Corey, Fred, Doug and some new helpers too... (Strawberry Jam Band). We headed out to Milpitas to the Crowne Plaza and a night of partying... Woohoo! To my surprise, some people I didn't expect to see "Kurt" (our old roommate) showed up too! It was so fun catching up. Paul's younger brother Ken put on a big picnic at Alum Rock Park for the next day and that was a multi-class party. So fun to see everyone and catch up!

My day with Tyler
Talen has a friend for the day and a sleepover. Tyler is a friend from school that Talen plays "Pretend" games with at lunch everyday. He and Tyler get along smashingly. No issues that I have heard of yet! Last weekend Talen spent the night at Tyler's house and all day on Sunday. They had a great time. I decided to return the favor and have Tyler over here for a sleepover this weekend. Tyler's parents are so nice and we are so grateful to have found a friend for Talen that comes from the same (or similar) morals as we do. The boys have so much fun together. I decided to be adventurious and take them to the "Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose". (I think they were about 3 years to old for it... but still had fun!) We went to fremont to visit Talen's Grandmother Kitty, and then to Border's for the boys to find some good Mystery books for fouth grade reading. After that, to the corn maze! (I would like to mention that by this time the boys had said the word "Pretend" at least 10K times. They started their sentences with "Pretend" this and "Pretend" that... LOL!...I don't remember this being so annoying when Stevie Rae was little.) Anyway, after the corn maze, we came home for a half hour then off to Cheesecake Factory for dinnner. SO GOOD! We love going to Cheesecake because our good friend Tim is the GM and he treats us very well. Thanks Tim! We are home and the boys are in their jammies and about to hit the hay! They were such good boys today and I am so happy that Talen has a new BFF~ Goodnight Boys!

juliet joy marsh
i love it when I get to spend time with my best friend stacey. we share so many of the same interests and seem to feed off each other creatively. i love that. sharing ideas and helping each other is a big part of our 15 year friendship. i wouldn't trade it for the world. 9 years ago i asked stacey to be talen's god mother and she said yes. almost four years ago, she asked me to be juliet's godmother and boy was i happy. she is so beautiful and with my own princess getting so big (miss stevie rae), i was so happy to have a little girl in my life again. a few weeks ago i travelled up to sacramento to spend an evening with stacey practicing boudoir photography (on each other)... okay.... stop laughing. i know the image in your head is hilarious as it should be, and no your not going to see any of the photos, but it really was fun (after 3 glasses of wine) and informative. she and i both have boudoir parties that we are the photographer for in the next month. LOVE YA stace and i couldn't of posed for anyone else. LOL! while visiting stace, juliet came home from daddy's in the morning and i got to spend a little time with her. she is beautiful, inside and out. i love her.
